Impression of Familiarity is a culmination of Jazz music and its album art, whilst taking elements from both Cubism and Pop Art. This piece takes elements of Jazz music, using rhythm to improvise  elements of the painting. From this, I painted bold, geometric shapes as the music inspired these Cubist burst of colours. These shapes mirrors the free-flowing, improvised nature of Jazz.
